A later prehistoric field system is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Crane Hill Plantation, Tarrant Rushton. It is associated with the enclosure described in MDO5156 and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description

A later prehistoric field system is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Crane Hill Plantation, Tarrant Rushton (1-2). It is associated with the enclosure described in MDO5156 and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. The field system appears to be coaxial and covers an area of approximately 11 hectares.
