Monument record MDO44147 - Later prehistoric field system, Tarrant Crawford

Fragments of a later prehistoric field system are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of The Tarrant, Tarrant Crawford. The linear ditched features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Part of a later prehistoric ditched enclosure is recorded as cropmarks on 2015 Historic England oblique aerial photographs. It has a curved east side and measures about 50m across. It is centred at ST 9377 0365. <1>

Fragments of a later prehistoric field system are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of The Tarrant, Tarrant Crawford <2-3>. The linear ditched features cover an area of 0.3 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
