Summary

Part of the Roman road from Badbury Rings to Dorchester between Little Almer Wood and The Dorset and Somerset Joint Railway. A 2.5kn stretch of this road is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery. t was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

Full Description

Part of the Roman road from Badbury Rings to Dorchester between Little Almer Wood and The Dorset and Somerset Joint Railway. A 2.5km stretch of this road is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery (5). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
