The probable sites of three post medieval chalk pits are visible as low earthwork hollows on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the southwest of Crane Plantation, Tarrant Rushton [1-2]. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
