Summary

A ditched field boundary is visible as cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 1982 to the north of Keynston Mill, Tarrant Keyneston. It is very straight and fits in with the modern system and is therefore considered to be of post medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description

A ditched field boundary is visible as cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 1982 to the north of Keynston Mill, Tarrant Keyneston [1]. It runs for over 300m in a NE-SW direction. It is very straight and fits in with the modern system and is therefore considered to be of post medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
