Full Description
Several coins were found on Lazerton Farm, Stourpaine circa 1978.
ST 86721045. Iron Age 'Durotrigan' gold stater of Chute-type (85-55BC) found at a depth of 3 cms.
ST 86391071. Iron Age cast bronze stater of Durotrigan debased form (30-70AD) found at a depth of 6 cms.
ST 86401078. An indecipherable Roman bronze coin, possibly an antoninianus (250-300 AD) found at a depth of 5 cms.
ST 86571075. Romano-British bronze antoninianus minted in London for Carausius (287-293 AD) found at a depth of 2 cms. <1>
