Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated within a prehistoric field system. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 30 feet in diameter with a mound 3 feet high. The barrow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

'(28) Bowl (87070015), in the S.W. corner of the parish on a S.W. slope at 400 ft. O.D., lies among 'Celtic' fields (Group (48)) and a lynchet runs immediately above it. Diam. 30 ft., ht. 3 ft.'
