Full Description

Findspot of a Roman coin hoard uncovered during ploughing at Racedown Farm in 1992. It consisted of 42 sestertii ranging in date from the mid-1st century to the to just after the middle of the 2nd century AD. It was probably deposited towards the end of the 2nd century. <1>
