Building record MDO44652 - Tuck Mill, Thorncombe

Summary

A highly modified industrial building, converted to domestic use. Similar proportions and orientation to the tuck mill shown on the 25" Ordnance Survey sheet. The building is long in plan, of 2 storeys and is built of rubble stone. The small windows have red brick heads and jambs. The gabled roof has a recent slate covering. Possibly a converted corn mill or a fulling mill.
