Full Description
A group of structures and earthworks on the east side of Blandford Camp are visible on 1940s aerial photographs [1, 2]. The features comprise two rhomboid concrete pits with banks on either side, each with two crescent-shaped concrete berms or walls, plus some other ancillary rectilinear structures. They are considered likely to be a firing range of possible Second World War date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
