Full Description
A firing range of probable Second World War date is visible as structures and earthworks on the west side of Blandford Camp on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features comprise a crescent-shaped concrete berm or wall with a rhomboid shaped pit, plus some other ancillary rectilinear structures and linear banked earthworks. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
