Monument record MDO44943 - D-shaped enclosure, Gussage All Saints

A possible D-shaped enclosure, circa 1.6 hectares in extent, associated with a complex of linear features representing ditches and possible tracks. The enclosure is open on its eastern side. The straight side runs east-west, while the curving side runs round to the north. The linear features occur mainly to the northwest and to the east. Possible D-shaped enclosure MDO44941 is similar in appearance and, being located immediately to the south, may be part of the same complex. Both are cut through by the Ackling Dyke Roman road.

ST 998119. Possible D-shaped enclosure, area ?1.6 ha., visible on air photographs. E end incomplete or 'open'; apex at W; focal to complex of ditches including ?tracks. <1-2>
