Full Description
A group of five stones upended in a haed by the road from Salisbury to Mere were noted by Mrs Harfield of the Pen Selwood Research Group. (1)
The stones are rectangular blocks about 1.3m high and 0.3-0.5m thick. One has been used as a gatepost. (2)
These stones may be upcasts from the adjacent quarry.
