Full Description

Great Strode House is of L-shaped plan, 17th century with modern additions. The south front has original stone windows of
four and five lights, those of the ground floor with moulded labels. There are three original stone windows on the east front. <2-3>

Great Strode House (name confirmed by owner) is as described by Authorities 2 and 3. It is a substantial and well-preserved private dwelling, stone built with a modern roof and brick extension to the NW. The house has apparently been extensively renovated at various periods See photographs. <4>
