Summary

Linear ditched features to the east of Tarrant Monkton are visible as cropmarks on an aerial photograph dated 2015. The features may be trackways and/or field boundaries of later prehistoric origin, potentially Iron Age to Roman in date, and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

Linear ditched features to the east of Tarrant Monkton are visible as cropmarks on an aerial photograph dated 2015 [1]. The features may be trackways and/or field boundaries of later prehistoric origin, potentially Iron Age to Roman in date, possibly associated with a wider area of similar features, including a number of rectilinear enclosures and a possible settlement (MDOs 45140-45142).
The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
