Summary

A probable Post Medieval chalk pit is visible as a soilmark on aerial photographs. The site is centred at ST 9623 1082 and comprises an amorphous quarry which measures a maximum of 33m east to west by 28m wide. The quarry has been filled in on aerial photographs taken in 1953.

A probable Post Medieval chalk pit is visible as a soilmark on aerial photographs. The site is centred at ST 9623 1082 and comprises an amorphous quarry which measures a maximum of 33m east to west by 28m wide. The quarry has been filled in on aerial photographs taken in 1953.
