Full Description
A bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was reported as being 72 feet in diameter with a mound about 3 feet high, and overgrown.
The barrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project (NMR 2007; EA 2018). The mound is just under 19m in diameter and appears substantially disturbed in its centre. An outer ditch around 1.5m in width is also visible.
