‘Unless otherwise described, the following cottages are single-storeyed with attics and have cob walls, thatched roofs and class-S plans. They date from late in the 18th to about the middle of the 19th century. … Crab Orchard and Three Legged Cross … (48) Cottage (08370631), of two storeys, has a slate-covered roof.’
