A possible post medieval extractive pit to the north of Knoll Copse, Corfe Mullen, is visible as a cropmark on a 1959 aerial photograph and as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
