Monument record MDO45687 - Later prehistoric field system, Spetisbury

An extensive later prehistoric field system is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery within and to the northeast of Rendezvous Plantation, Spetisbury. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

An extensive later prehistoric field system is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery within and to the northeast of Rendezvous Plantation, Spetisbury <1-2>. The features cover an area of over 79 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. A later prehistoric settlement enclosure lies within the field system at ST 388510 101475 and is presumably contemporary with the field system; it is described separately in MDO45688.
