Summary

A series of parallel banks are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Whitechurch Hill Barn, Winterborne Whitechurch. They may be field boundaries of later prehistoric date or later cultivation marks. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description

A series of parallel banks are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and cropmarks on aerial photographs <1-2> to the south of Whitechurch Hill Barn, Winterborne Whitechurch. They may be field boundaries of later prehistoric date or later cultivation marks. The features cover an area of over 20 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
