Summary

The site of an Iron Age or Roman enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. It appears to be an outer curvilinear ditched enclosure with internal rectilinear subdivisions. It lies immediately to the west of the enclosure described in MDO38029.

Full Description

The site of an Iron Age or Roman enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (3) and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. It appears to be an outer curvilinear ditched enclosure up to 100m across within which is set a rectilinear enclosure (58m by 70m) which has three internal rectilinear subdivisions. It lies immediately to the west of the enclosure described in MDO38029.
