Summary

Three hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the west of Thornicomb Farm, Blandford St Mary. They range in size from 17m to 125m and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Three hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery <1> in fields to the west of Thornicomb Farm, Blandford St Mary. They range in size from 17m to 125m and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
