Full Description
Five hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of East Down Plantation, Winterborne Kingston <1-2>. They are between 21m and 36m across and the three have partial outer rings of spoil. The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
