A hoard of 1200 coins in an "earthen vessel" was ploughed up in 1791 in a field called "Walls", according to Hutchins. <1-4>

The field commonly known as Walls is actually in two parts, Upper Walls and Lower Walls, centred SY 5405 8745. It has been under grass for many years. <5>
