Full Description
Possible AA gun site. It consists of a one and a half inch diameter three-pronged tubular iron gun mount with a 'cotton reel' type fitting on the top to hold the gun. It is positioned in the centre of a 12ft diameter, 4ft deep concave hole in the ground, giving it a 360 degree arc of fire. At the crossroads of the B3390 road and the road to West Stafford, near Warmwell. <1-3>
