Full Description
The probable site of a later prehistoric enclosured settlement is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1989 to the west of West Farm, Winterborne Whitechurch. The features include the northern half of a curvilinear ditched enclosure at least 88m across with internal pits and a possible hut circle as well ass associated linears which may be field boundaries. The site covers an area of 1.4 hectares and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. <1>
