Full Description
A small rectilinear ditched enclosure within Charborough Park, Morden, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs [1, 2]. The feature comprises an oval ditched enclosure approximately 60m by 43m. It is of uncertain date or origin, although a later prehistoric date is possible. It is crossed by several ditched linear features (MDO46473), possibly trackways and/or field boundaries, which themselves may be later prehistoric or alternatively post medieval in date. It is not certain, but the linears appear to cut the enclosure, suggesting it may be an earlier feature.
It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
