Full Description
An area of possible ridged and ditched cultivation within a field to the east of East Almer Farm, Sturminster Marshall, is visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features comprise linear strips of curvilinear ridges and ditches that may be those of medieval ridge and furrow. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
