Full Description
Banked linear boundaries to the north of Windmill Burrow Farm, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are considered likely to be field boundaries that form part of a rectilinear field system of posible later prehistoric origin, although a date between late prehistoric and medieval is possible. The field system might be a continuation of one to the north (recorded under MDO46784). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
