Full Description
A sub-circular feature in a field to the northeast of Morden is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs and as an earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The feature comprises a circular mound around 24 m in diameter, visible on lidar imagery [2]. A sub-circular ring ditch around 2m wide and 27m in diameter is visible as a cropmark on a 1945 aerial photograph [1]. The feature is considered likely to be a Bronze Age bowl barrow with an accompanying outer ditch. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
