Full Description
Polished green nephrite or jadeite axe found in a field at Newton Peveril (centred SY 938997). Now in the Pitt-Rivers Museum, Farnham, Dorset. <1>
No further information was obtained during field investigation regarding this imported, apparently Neolithic, axe. The landowner had no knowledge of the find. <2>
