Find Spot record MDO47015 - Neolithic axehead, Newton Peverill, Sturminster Marshall

A Neolithic polished nephrite or jadeite axe was found in a field at Newton Peveril. It was in the Pitt-Rivers Museum, Farnham, Dorset (and is presumably now in Salisbury Museum).

No further information was obtained during field investigation regarding this imported, apparently Neolithic, axe. The landowner had no knowledge of the find. <2>
