Full Description
A sub-circular hollow depression in a field at Lytchett Matravers, is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The feature might be a post medieval extractive pit and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features is under housing on 2022 Google Earth imagery.
