Seven small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Waterley Wood, Bloxworth. They range from 5m to 15m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.

Seven small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Waterley Wood, Bloxworth <1>. They range from 5m to 15m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.
