Full Description
Hanford Park: A Bronze Age flanged axe, found near the River Stour, is now in the BM (92 9 1 307). The axe, 16.3cm long, has a stop-ridge and central ribs at the base of the blade. <1>
No information was obtained upon this axe during field investigation.The fields bordering the river were under pasture. From the BM
accession number the axe was evidently in the Durden collection. <2>
