Summary

A lodge at the entrance to Poole Cemetery built in around 1886. It is of two storeys and is built of brick and partly tile-hung. It is in Arts and Crafts-style and was probably constructed in circa 1886 when the entrance gates to the cemetery were restored.

Full Description

Poole Cemetery was laid out in 1854 by C.C. Creeke for the Poole Burial Board. To the north-west of the cemetery gates is a lodge. It is of two storeys and built of brick and is partly tile-hung. It is in Arts and Crafts-style and was probably constructed in circa 1886 when the entrance gates were restored. <1>
