Full Description

Gaskyn (or Gascoyne) Bridge situated beside a ford across the River Frome at Wrackleford near Charminster, is mentioned as "Gaskin Bridge" in the Court Rolls of the adjoining parish of Bradford Peverell in 1590. The original builder of the bridge may have been a certain John Gaskin who made a will in 1503. <2>
