Please read our .

Summary

During excavations in 2023, a curvilinear ditch (containing fired clay), two ill defined linear features (possibly ditches), and an elongated pit feature were revealed in Trench 1. The curvilinear ditch had dimensions of approximately 6.3m x 1.7m, the linear features approximately 1.4 x 0.7m, and the pit approximately 1 x 0.3m. Settlement activity is suggested by the presence of domestic waste.
