Summary

Banked curvilinear features in a field to the south of Up Cerne are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered to possibly be field boundaries of later prehistoric origin, although being within an area of medieval to post medieval features, a later date is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.

Banked curvilinear features in a field to the south of Up Cerne are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are considered to possibly be field boundaries of later prehistoric origin, although being within an area of medieval to post medieval features, a later date is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
