Full Description
The probable site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch 27m across on aerial photographs (1) with traces of an internal mound on lidar imagery (2). The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. It is one of a large cluster of ring-ditches which is interpreted as the probable remains of a Bronze Age round barrow cemetery.
