The site of Old Flint Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the northeast of Bagber Farm. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. A second larger pit with associated spoil heap lies to the south east.
