Summary

Fragments of a bank and ditched field system are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south and west of Longmead, Milton St Andrew. It covers an area of over 45 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The field system is considered likely to be of prehistoric origin and is an extension of MDO46400 to the south.

Fragments of a bank and ditched field system are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south and west of Longmead, Milton St Andrew (1-4). It covers an area of over 45 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The field system is considered likely to be of prehistoric origin and is an extension of MDO46400 to the south.
