Summary

Fragments of a bank and ditched field system are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the east of The Rings, Milborne St Andrew. It covers an area of over 26 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Whilst undated the field system may be of prehistoric origin, the linear boundary described in MDO48332 extends southward from this system.

Fragments of a bank and ditched field system are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the east of The Rings, Milborne St Andrew (1-2). It covers an area of over 26 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Whilst undated the field system may be of prehistoric origin, the linear boundary described in MDO48332 extends southward from this system.
