Full Description
An area of medieval strip lynchets to the northwest of Piddletrenthide are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. Possibly part of the medieval open field system of Piddletrenthide, continues areas of similar lynchets to the southwest recorded under MDOs 1925, 1926 and 48385. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
