Full Description
Two areas of possible ridge and furrow cultivation to the north of Cerne Abbas are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are considered to possibly be part of a medieval field system, possibly an area of former medieval strip field. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
