Full Description
An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the west of Devils Bottom Barn, Dewlish <1>. A number of hollows are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the vicinity, they were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2-3>.
