Summary
The remains of possible medieval cultivation on Smacam Down, Cerne Abbas, are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features comprise parallel cultivation marks and possible ridge and furrow, delimited by in places by narrow linear banks. The features appear to overlie the eastern end of a later prehistoric settlement and field system (MDO716). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

The remains of possible medieval cultivation on Smacam Down, Cerne Abbas, are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1].
