Full Description
Two Old Chalk Pits are marked on the OS 1st edition map in the field immediately to the east of Peak Coppice, Piddlehinton <1>. They are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery <2> and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. They are part of a wider group of chalk pits within the same modern field.
