The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project and is situated immediately to the south of the barrow described in MDO2227.

The potential site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a partial cropmark ring ditch 16m across on aerial photographs taken in 1971 <1>. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project and is situated immediately to the south of the barrow described in MDO2227.
