Summary

Four Old Chalk Pits are marked on the OS 1st edition map to the west of Bourne Farm, Piddlehinton. They are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. They form part of a wider scatter of small extractive pits between the modern farm complex and Bourne Park Solar Farm.

Three Old Chalk Pits are marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of the B3142 at Waterston, Puddleton <1>. They are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery <2> and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
